Using the latest technology in electronic fingerprinting, RefCheckSM is able to search Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI&I) and FBI databases for criminal history data. (FBI records are available only for Ohio-mandated industries, typically for volunteers and for individuals who are assigned to vulnerable populations such as children, the elderly, and special-needs populations.) RefCheckSM is proud to have been selected by the FBI as one of only a few companies to participate in the pilot program they established in conjuction with the Ohio BCI&I.
Electronic fingerprinting is done at RefCheckSM’s corporate offices, in a comfortable, non-threatening environment, conveniently located near the Arlington/Hilliard exits off Columbus’ outerbelt (Interstate 270).
